COPY

Banners must meet the standard internet dimensions:

Please note: A solus sponsorship consists of a top banner, a skyscraper and EITHER a bottom banner OR an MPU as well as an advertorial.

REQUIREMENTS

The copy will need to be sent in two formats:

1. Gif or jpeg

2. Text (200 characters) – This is simply the advertisement in written format, necessary in order to ensure the advertisements can be seen by all subscribers. For example, some subscribers are unable to view html files and would therefore receive the text version of the e-newsletter and any advertisements instead.

COPY DEADLINE

The copy will be required one week prior to the e-newsletter mailing date.

Bespoke Travel Weekly advertorial email specs

Clients should provide an HTML file, using the guidelines below:

Copy should consist of both images and text. We will not accept copy consisting of just one large graphic, or copy made entirely of images, due to image blockers / spam filters.

1. Max width 600 pixels
2. It is advisable that the height of the copy should not exceed 1000 pixels.
3. HTML code in a <table> tag structure
4. Please avoid <div>, <span> tags
5. Please avoid CSS styles as this will not display correctly in Outlook 2007. Inline CSS are acceptable only within <td> tags.
6. All images need to be in a GIF or JPEG format, (max file size 40kb)
7. Note that animated gifs do not display correctly in Outlook 2007
8. Flash and Rich Media files can not be used in emails.
9. Do not include your own unsubscribe links

For clients who are unable to provide an HTML file, we can create a simple layout. Specs are:

1. Max 200 words of text, plus headline, subheader and link(s) in a word doc
2. Header image / banner, max 600 pixels wide, in a gif or jpg format (max file size 40kb)
3. 1 additional body image, max wide 200 pixels, in a gif or jpg format (max file size 40kb)
4. If needed, Footer image / banner, max 600 pixels, in a gif or jpg format (max file size 40kb)

We have branded templates for each product, the HTML file client supplied will be dropped into the content area of the template.
